MEINL Sea Drums create the soothing sounds of the surf behind your rhythms. A small amount of steel balls inside the drum delivers a fantastic sound effect when rolled over the clear synthetic head. The hand selected pre-tuned True Feel synthetic head on the top playing surface provides unmatched tones with just the right amount of sustain. A sealing port located on the side of the Rubber Wood shell allows the player to control the amount of steel balls inside the drum. Frame drums are an excellent main rhythmic foundation for Folk, Irish, World and Celtic music, but have applications in any musical setting that the player sees fit.
