The BOUNTIFUL Acoustic Guitar Pickup is a 3-head contact microphone pickup system installed on the bridge plate of the acoustic guitar. It’s a transducer-only system without battery and onboard electronics required. It’s passive but with high impedance output, it can drive most amplifiers and PA systems directly without a preamp. But if you want more controls of the frequency, you can use the AMUMU Glorifier DI preamp. It features super balanced and flat sound transmission with a rich warm woody tone The contact microphone, made of a thin piezoelectric ceramic round glued to a thin brass disc, also known as a piezo microphone, is a form of microphone that senses the audio vibrations through contact with the bridge plate on the soundboard of acoustic guitars. The BOUNTIFUL Pickup system senses the audio vibrations through contact with acoustic guitar and transmits a significant portion of the soundboard ( bridge plate) because they are not as close to the strings as an under-saddle pickup, each of the 3 transducers is designed to pick up a specific range of frequency which is known as Treble, Mid, and Bass, The BOUNTIFUL Pickup system is designed to generate the pure and uncolored sound of the acoustic guitar, it’s totally different from those “self-adhesive” piezo pickups on the market which are attached by double-sided tapes on the external of the guitar and also sound with too much treble. The BOUNTIFUL Pickup system is required to use superglue installation which can help transducers reach their full potential, also, pickups installed in or on the bridge are a lot less likely to feedback than those are attached to the open sound board.
