The Tone City Model M V2 is a distortion/amp-in-a-box effect pedal and the big brother of the popular Tone City Golden Plexi stompbox. The Model M features classic British Plexi-style voicing and combines two selectable distortion channels and a switchable and adjustable boost section in one pedal. Crunch mode covers the rock sounds of the 60s and 70s from light overdrive to rich crunch, while the high gain mode offers a rich mid-range and extremely high gain - from classic rock to heavy metal with a small switch! The switchable boost section is the perfect tool to tighten the sound and get more volume for 'cutting' lead tones. Each distortion channel has a separate gain knob, while the tone knob acts as a master EQ for both channels. The revised V2 version offers an even greater gain range, an improved signal-to-noise ratio and an improved boost section, which can now be used individually or in combination with the distortion circuit.
