Product Description The snare wire for a 14 Inches super sensitive snare drum (for models build from 1920-1968) has 12 strands, an overall length of 16 1/2 Inches, and a strand length of 15 1/2 Inches (including the soldered area on each end-plate). Both end-plates have a long and narrow t bracket attachment method. Puresound's vintage series snare wires are designed not only to replace worn and no longer available wires on vintage snares, they are also designed to enhance the performance of those classic drums. From the Manufacturer Designed as a replacement for vintage 14" Ludwig Super Sensitive snare drums from 1969 to now, the Super Sensitive snare wire has 16 individual strands of premium-grade steel wire. The snares have an overall length of 16 7/8", and a strand length of 16" (from solder point to solder point). Both end plates have a "T" bracket attachment method.
