• Figure-8 Polar Pattern: Fen-tone has a figure-8 polar pattern which helps eliminate side-address noise when recording. That means that Fen-tone will pick up what is directly in front of it and behind it. This feature is great for recording two acoustic instrumentalists facing each other, playing into either side of the mic without picking up as much bleed as other microphone designs.
