Caroline Guitar Company's Shigeharu is a remarkably well-crafted fuzz pedal. Thanks to a "cascading hybrid" of op-amp and BC184 transistor gain stages, you can get a variety of tones out of it. You get exceptional tonal clarity, but plenty of warmth and bite as well. It all depends on how you dial it in! The Shigeharu lets you control (clockwise from top-left) Level, Drive, Body, and Tone. This pedal really shines thanks to its "Havoc" control in the middle, which adds octave-up to the mix. You also get a momentary Kill switch on the bottom-right, in addition to the Bypass switch, and internal controls for further tonal tweaking. If you want a big muff-style fuzz that truly cuts through the mix.
