Strat saddle bolts have been shredding players' hands since 1954. Highwood saddles are designed so that the screws do not protrude beyond the top of the saddle. Our innovative saddles are made of exceptionally high-quality steel and are nickel-plated directly on the steel body to give you a genuine vintage tone. HG Contoured vintage guitar riders have more mass, giving you longer sustain, clearer note separation and definition, improved harmonic response and improved touch sensitivity. These soft saddles still have a beautiful vintage look. Each HG kit comes with stainless steel intonation and height adjustment screws and springs. Please note: Highwood saddles are hardened but not as strong as some other brands. We found that extremely hardened saddles can change the sound of your guitar, making your guitar sound "pingy" at times.
