In this series, the Temporal War has thrown the Enterprise back to Earth in 1944, where history is taking a completely different course. After foiling the Xindi's evil plans, the crew return to their own time and a hero's welcome, but after a short break Captain Archer (Scott Bakula) finds himself drawn into an insurgency attempt to destroy mankind's relations with the Vulcans. After struggling against terrorists who want to expel all aliens from Earth, Archer and his crew finally witness the signing of the Federation Charter, and see the Enterprise decommissioned.
