Jaboticaba Bonsai is an upright, graceful indoor bonsai tree that has glossy, dark-green foliage that comes in brushed with pink in the Spring. The bark is cinnamon colored and has a habit of slowly peeling off in curls, which adds to its already stunning visual impact. Mature Jaboticaba will flower and produce fruit all over its trunk and branches. The flowers are tiny and white and the fruit, which are round, dark and resemble small grapes, can be eaten fresh or made into jams or wine (they’re called Brazilian Grapes in case anyone asks). Each live plant is shipped with the Phytosanitary Certificate as required by the USDA.
