Spax profile drill screw is used for attaching wooden planks to aluminium substructures. The fixing thread reduces ratchet noise in the plank construction. Stable sheet metal double thread for better grooves and higher edge coverage. Drill bit for aluminium profiles up to 3.0 mm wall thickness without pre-drilling. Very low construction height of the terrace total construction of min. 46 mm possible. Instructions for use: step 1: wood type dependent pre-drilling of the plank with HSS drill bits diameter 5, 2 or 5, 5 mm. Step 2: Screw the terrace screw with Spax bit T-Star plus T25 flush head. Result: impeccable appearance, no splicing and no wood distortion. Screw connection can also be removed without head tearing. Product advantages: T-Star plus T25, cylinder head, drill bit, A2 rust-proof stainless steel, anti-friction coating. Note: Do not pre-drill the aluminium profile. Use spacers when attaching to moulded tubes. Suitable for stable wood types with low source and swing behaviour.
