• Applications: Our countersunk screws stainless steel (also wood floor screws stainless steel) are particularly suitable for fastening tannin-free wood (e.g. Ipe wood). The universal screws are ideal for regions with low environmental influences. Continuous moisture, high sulfur dioxide levels, or chlorides can damage the screws. If in doubt, we recommend our V2A screws. Also usable as a replacement for pan head screws facade screws.
• For proper installation, pre-drilling and countersinking of the wooden planks is recommended - especially with very long screws. Countersinking allows for a flush installation of the stainless steel Torx screws. The friction thread on the deck screws prevents creaking noises on the terrace, as the shaft moves with a bit more play and less friction in the wood. The correct length of the wood construction screws should be about 2.5 times the thickness of the wooden slats.
