You can use a multimeter to test whether the fuse is still functioning. When replacing a blown thermal fuse, always inspect the dryer vent first. The thermal cut off is located on top of the burner funnel under the dryer drum, so you'll need to remove the drum from the dryer cabinet to access the old part. Replacing this part requires basic hand tools, such as a multi screwdriver, putty knife, and a 5/16" nut driver. It also requires some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience.
