The shank diameter is the same as the drill size. The 2002-TC series is most suitable for drilling into low-carbon steel, cast iron, aluminum and copper alloys. TiCN is harder than TiN and has lower friction. It combines toughness with good wear resistance. Spiral flutes act as a passageway for chip removal and for coolant to enter the hole.
