All of these lampshades have washer (spider) attachments similar to the one depicted. This type of lampshade is generally used on lamps with a harp. A harp is NOT included with your lampshade. The inner diameter of the washer measures exactly 7/16 inches (Slightly less than 0.5 inches).For the Attachment Drop: This can be a little confusing. Many lampshades have a 1/2 inch drop. That means, the attachment is recessed 1/2 inch below the top of the lampshade. If you select a 2 inch attachment, the attachment will be recessed 2 inches below the top of the lampshade.Feel free to call or email us if you have any questions.
