The rear locking screws were replaced with a self-locking mechanism, and a front-mounted switch was redesigned in Oregon for easier operation. Motion Awake puts the dot to sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity and reactivates on movement, preserving battery life while ensuring readiness.
- MOTION-ACTIVATED GREEN DOT ILLUMINATION – The RD3-006 now features Motion Awake technology, which powers down the dot after 5 minutes of inactivity and instantly reactivates it upon movement or vibration. It resumes your last brightness setting, ensuring fast readiness with no reprogramming. The updated self-locking adjustment system makes windage and elevation easier to dial in without extra hardware or tools.
- MULTI-BRIGHTNESS DOT WITH UNLIMITED EYE RELIEF – Features a 3 MOA green dot reticle with 5 brightness settings for versatile use in bright daylight or low light. Fully adjustable for windage and elevation, with locking screws to maintain zero. Offers unlimited eye relief for quick target acquisition and situational awareness. Powered by one included CR2032 lithium battery for reliable long-term use.
- UNIVERSAL MOUNTING OPTIONS WITH PICATINNY BASE – Ships with a Picatinny mount pre-installed and fits most compact platforms with a standard rail. Also compatible with optics-ready pistols like Glock MOS and Springfield OSP when using the manufacturer’s mounting plate (sold separately). Works with many handgun mounting plates that replace the rear sight dovetail and are cut for the Doctor/Venom/Fastfire footprint.
- FITS DOCTOR/FASTFIRE/VENOM FOOTPRINT – The RD3-006 shares the same footprint as other ADE models like RD3-009, RD3-012, RD3-013, and RD3-015. It fits optic plates or slides made for Vortex Venom, Burris Fastfire, Meopta, Docter, Insight, and EOTech MRDS. Not compatible with Trijicon RMR/SRO, Shield RMS/RMSC, C-More, or other non-Doctor-style patterns. Always confirm your plate or slide cut before installation.
