- Medium Grit: Grit is critical for knife sharpener stones and ceramic rod knife sharpeners. This Sharp Stick features a medium grit (600) that can both refine an edge and remove some material when needed.
- Instructions: Place the tip of the knife sharpener tool on a stable surface. Grip the handle firmly. Try to match the bevel angle of the knife to the sharpener and then draw the knife edge down the rod as if you were attempting to slice a thin layer off the rod – repeat this motion 3-4 times using light to moderate pressure. Repeat on the other side of the blade. Maintain a consistent angle for the best results.
- Maintenance Tip: Use Nathan's Honing Oil (not included) or the Lanksy Eraser Block (not included) to clean the Ceramic Sharp Stick when it gets clogged with sharpening detriment. These are great additions to your kitchen knife or pocket knife sharpening kit.
