The stylized graceful simplicity of this bird fits the image of the iconic bird in Richard Bach's best selling book Jonathan Livingston Seagull, which helped the Studio get off to a flying start in 1973. 50 years later, it still has strong appeal. One might say it has become a become a classic. It is made of Pellucida our proprietary compound of resins that resembles but is more durable than Bisque porcelain. The piece stands about 8 inches high and the gulls wingspan is about 9 inches. PLEASE NOTE; the photos are of illustrative samples.
