The GSNI gas spring incorporates a strong annealed steel rod with a Nitride coating for corrosion resistance. These struts also use composite 10 mm ball end fitting for additional corrosion resistance . This auction is for ONE strut. This strut is 17" extended and 10.25" closed, with a 6.75" stroke and has 10 mm ball sockets. Those measurements are from center of ball socket to ball socket. End to end these are 18" open and 11.25" closed These are 60 pounds of force. Commonly used for hatches, covers, lids, doors, rv's campers
