This Pro-tek no cut frame slider kit is made from acetal plastic for strength and durability. It comes with all steel bolts and mounting hardware along with complete instructions needed for installation.The kit contains two acetal pucks with aluminum shims and steel bolts that clear the fairings by an inch.You do not want a slider to stick out too far or it will cause a bike to flip in a crash by snagging on the ground. You want the puck to either touch down and start to grind off and not catch on anything or if hit hard enough or direct enough to shatter and absorb the initial crash energy. If the slider shatters, grinds off or bends, it did it's job in absorbing the crash energy. You don't want it transferring the energy to other parts of the bike causing more costly damage.The right side puck measures 82mm (3.25") in length and the left side puck measures 102mm (4") in length. Both take a 10mm x 80mm steel bolt that is countersunk into the puck.These frame sliders are brand new in original packaging manufactured in the US from Pro-tek, a leading manufacturer in the motorcycle industry now for 25 years.Applications1997-2000 Suzuki GSXR-6001996-1999 Suzuki GSXR-7502003-2004 Suzuki GSXR-1000The frame sliders are to be mounted to your upper engine mounts. Refer to your service manual before performing this installation. Before beginning, make sure pinch bolts are tight to prevent any engine movement. Remove right side engine mount bolt and install short slider using supplied bolt. Repeat process on left side using long slider and supplied bolt. Always torque bolts to factory specifications.Included: (2) Acetal sliders with aluminum bushings (2) 10mm x 1.25 pitch x 80mm steel bolts
