The MEINL Aluminum Jingle Shaker has two pairs of steel jingles which are attached in one row to an octagonal aluminum shaker.

• OUR MOST RELAXED GRIP: the octagonal shape lets you hold the shaker with a much looser grip than large round shakers; the shaker will naturally rest in your fingertips without you needing to squeeze tight
• WHY IT MATTERS: putting pressure on shakers alters their tone and volume—this can happen more with large round shakers to avoid slippage; now you can determine your sound by changing the pressure because you want to—instead of having to
• DRIVING THE SOUND: an aluminum body produces crisp middle to high range tone with articulate response from the straight edges; fine shaped internal filling delivers a nice spread of sound without being too harsh or too sloshy
• ONE BIG THING: two pairs of steel jingles add a bright tambourine layer to the sound; you can control the amount of jingle response by changing the direction you shake
• OF NOTE: its aluminum build cuts down weight but is also very durable, so it's lightweight but will stand up to heavy touring, energetic live shows, or whatever you need it for
