- The WBC-GOLD-LOCAP-SPKR-12AWG consists of a total of 588, 99.99% Highly-Pure Oxygen Free Copper (OFC), 0.12mm fine strands divided equally between two 12AWG cores laid out in an expanded dumbbell speaker cable design. The additional distance between the 2 cores ensures probably the world’s lowest capacitance and the lowest inductance for a speaker cable in the sub $200 price range. These conductors are then covered by a proprietary PVC-blend for tough yet highly flexible outer jacket.
- At WBC we only use the highest-grade connectors for these audiophile cable assemblies. Eminence 3-micron, 24K Gold plated, audiophile-grade, 4mm (standard diameter) banana plugs with a fully insulated body to prevent accidental shorting & multi-spade connectors, (compatible with 8mm and 6mm binding posts), provide superior abrasion & corrosion resistance and unrivaled performance. The banana & spade plugs are specially reinforced to support heavy gauge cables (special shaft & thicker profile).
- All our bespoke cables are professionally soldered using WORLDS BEST CABLES proprietary 4% silver solder blend & a nitrogen-assisted soldering process unique to us, exceeding industry standards, improves integrity of solder joints over traditional methods.
