It's called lateral subluxation of the humerus, caused by the equivalent of being struck by a car, but from the inside out. It's happened twice now, and doctors were almost certain Navi would lose his leg. As I write this, after six weeks in a body cast, and his owner carrying him around everywhere as if he were made of glass, Navi still has his leg.
