This Dixon BA31-200 stainless steel bayonet-style adapter has a buna-n (buna nitrile) seal, a 2" female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connection, and a 2" bayonet-style male coupling. This coupling design and buna-n seal prevent the flow of liquid until the bayonet connection has been made. The stainless steel resists corrosion and chemicals and the coupling has an 85 psi maximum working pressure at 70 degrees F. This bayonet-style adapter is compatible with the Emco Dry-Break series of tank truck fittings and is suitable for use in applications such as fuel and lubrication oil delivery.Hose fittings connect, control, change the direction of, and terminate the flow in piping and hose systems.
