The Locinox Gate Insert Lock For Wood Gates With Hook is designed for either left or right handed wooden swing gates. An adjustable latch bolt and can be deadlocked as necessary with the stainless steel hook bolt; which should be used in conjunction with a SHKW keep to provide a secure anchoring. This is a key to latch lock meaning that the latchbolt can either be retracted using levers or by the turn of a key. Where a high level of security is required, it is recommended to have door pulls with the latch being retracted by use of a key only. However, if a high level of security is not a priority then levers can be fitted with the key being used to operate the hookbolt.
