This Andersen replacement sash/counter balancer is designed for Andersen 200 Series Narroline double-hung windows manufactured from 1968 to 2012. The balancer helps maintain proper sash position during window operation. It installs in the head jamb above the upper sash and is located on each side of the window. This part is sold individually; each window requires two balancers, and the same balancer is used on both the left-hand and right-hand sides. When replacing a balancer, it is recommended to replace both balancers and the window side jamb liners. Proper sizing requires measuring the exposed glass on the lower sash before ordering.
