AF-1002 is a 3-Stage Countertop Replacement Cartridge. With Anchor water filters there are no more unpleasant odors and chlorine taste, just clean refreshing water. Water from Anchor filters is also great for use in making coffee and tea, and cooking. All of Anchor water filters feature National Safety Foundation (NSF) certified filter media.
- Replacement filter for any standard sized housing of 10 inches. Filters up to 1500 gallons of water. *Does NOT reduce TDS*
- High chemical absorption capacity. Do not exhibit problems such as channeling, fluidizing, bypassing, and the release of carbon fines.
- KDF-55 effectively removes up to 99% of water-soluble heavy metals lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved metals. It also significantly extends life of GAC by protecting the carbon bed from fouling.
- COCONUT SHELL ACTIVATED CARBON (GAC) removes chlorine and its byproducts such as THM and TCE, SOCs, VOCs, PFOS/PFAS, low levels of hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) that causes bad odor.
