These matched Rail and Stile shaper cutter sets are designed for creating strong, attractive door frames in 3/4" to 1-1/4" thick material. Made from high-quality steel and fitted with finely ground carbide edges, each cutter is manufactured on modern CNC machinery to ensure accuracy, consistency, and long-term reliability. The cutting geometry produces a clean, smooth surface and a precise fit between rail and stile. Each set forms a 3/8"-wide decorative profile along with a 1/4" tongue-and-groove joint, making it easy to install a raised panel. For projects using thin plywood panels, an optional conversion kit swaps the standard 1/4" slot cutter for a 5.5mm cutter, along with the correct spacer for the rail cutter stack. Several profiles are available, including , Standard, Shaker, Art Deco, and Mission-style joinery. You can also upgrade the system for glass cabinet doors by adding the optional glass door cutter, which replaces the slot cutter and trims the back of the stile to create a clean, inset rabbet in one pass.
