Product Description The Palmgren radial arm drill press features a heavy cast iron base, worktable, and head. The head moves 12-Inch forward and backward using a rack and pinion system. Head also swivels 360-Degree around the column and tilts 45-Degree both right and left. The worktable height is adjustable using a rack and pinion system. Table can be tilted 45-Degree both right and left and rotates 360-Degree on a vertical axis. The worktable surface is precision ground and features slots for secure, accurate mounting of work piece. Other features include an enclosed ball bearing quill assembly, quick belt change and tension mechanism, positive quick-adjust feed depth stop and a 1/2 HP, 1725 RPM motor. The unit comes with a keyed chuck and chuck arbor. Spindle speeds are adjustable for drilling in steel, cast iron, aluminum, wood and plastic.
