Norseman Magnum Super Premium Drill Bits are made of a special Hi-Molybdenum Tool Steel and feature a 135 degree split point for easy drilling. The split point eliminates the need for a starting center punch, and speeds up the penetration of the bit for accurate starting. All parts of the bit including the body, clearance, flutes, point, and drill diameter are all precision ground for the accuracy and performance that makes Norseman America's finest cutting tools.
- Drill Bits in Norseman's Magnum Super Premium line are heat treated to be measurably harder than standard high speed steel and can withstand higher drilling temperatures while still keeping their sharpness.
- The Body and Clearance of these bits are gold surface treated for maximum lubricity. Magnum Super Premium Drill bits are recommended for use in hard metal drilling as well as work hardening grades of stainless steel.
- Designed for drilling metal. May be used on other materials.
