This is a shelf peg. Typically these are used to support a shelves in cabinets, bookshelves and other storage units. They are constructed from mold injected beige plastic. Each package contains 12 shelf support pegs each. The pin will fit into a 1/4 inch hole and each peg has a maximum safe load capacity of 5 lbs. each. Dimensions of the pegs are 1 inch in height, 1/4 inch diameter peg that is 5/16 inch in length with a 1/2 in wide and 1/2 inch long lip to hold your shelves. No tools are required to install or remove these pegs.
