• WILL NOT FIT 1/4" OD Tubing – Only fits 1/4" PEX tubing that has a ~3/8" outer diameter. If your tubing measures 1/4" OD, this is not the correct size.

• IMPORTANT SIZE NOTE – This fitting is for 1/4" PEX (nominal size). 1/4" PEX measures approx. 3/8" OD. It will NOT fit 1/4" OD copper, vinyl, refrigerator, or plastic tubing.
• CORRECT SIZING – The 1/4" side of the fitting is intentionally sized to fit 1/4" PEX (ASTM F876/F877 standard), not 1/4" OD tubing. The measurement mismatch is due to PEX nominal sizing (ID vs OD).
