- TO USE: Pull the string down 1/2 inch at a time. Sharpen the tip to a fine, flat point with an exacto knife or razor. Map out the design. Trace over the design during tattooing. Close the cap tightly so the product remains fresh for the next use. Clean with alcohol after each use
