This accurate quartz mechanism, made by Takane, is easy to install without tools. The kit includes stamped metal, classic-style black hands. The minute hand is 7" long while the hour hand measures 5-1/8" long. The threaded mounting shaft is 7/16" long and can be used with clock dials up to 5/16 inches thick, with a 3/8" round mounting hole. Mounting hardware, hanger and instructions are also included. Movement takes an AA battery (not included) and will run for over a year without attention. This compact movement is only 2-1/8 inches square and 9/16 inches thick.
