From a young age I loved being read to. I especially remember the Childcraft book series my sister and I got one Christmas. It was the first educational library resource created for children, known as The How and Why Library. It was filled with numerous stories, poems, and even science topics. In my teen years my reading journey transitioned, and biographies became my favorite.As an adult I helped form a Women’s Ministry at the church I attend. It was there that I began my journey of writing for the purpose of teaching others, often using my personal stories. Along the way, those who are my closest friends began hinting that I should write a book. Although it took some time for me to let that idea sink in, I decided to at least give it a try.
