"The Southwest Indian Detours - A Family Heritage" is a record of Jack & Lucile Stacy's involvement during the Fred Harvey and Hunter Clarkson Indian Detour adventures. Jack Stacy was driving tourists to the Southwest's attractions prior to his employment with the Fred Harvey and Hunter Clarkson Indian Detours. After his employment with the Clarkson Company, Jack started his own touring company, the "Indian Motor Tours," which lasted for twenty-one years. The book is also an historical account of the 1929 Cadillac which Jack and Lucile Stacy purchased in 1939 and its legacy with the Stacy family until 1993. The 1929 Cadillac was then donated to the Amfac Resorts Inc., dba, Fred Harvey Co. at the Grand Canyon. Later, Xanterra purchased the Amfac Resorts, and restored the 1929 Cadillac in 2024. Read more
