But the event placed me on the most exhilarating adventure, one that has left me forever changed. I had a new zest for life, and love was my message. I ran through each day like an unencumbered child, experiencing a new world of awe and wonder.I never meditated, not even once, until I had my encounter. The next day, I meditated and spoke to God for 12 hours straight. Crazy right? From that day, I found myself meditating regularly, and that is how the Holy Spirit introduced me to my Heavenly Father and His beautiful Son, Jesus. My emotions were raw and on fire, and as I traveled on this newfound adventure, I began to purge and document my heartfelt feelings through writings and images.During my journey, I started a non-conventional way of studying the Bible. I will admit I had no interest in reading the Bible at all. I found it boring and difficult to understand. But then, one day, a friend and now Bible mentor (JoAnn Turnbull) challenged me to study seven words for seven days.We were armed with this challenge and a hunger for more of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We started on quite an enlightening word adventure. To date, we have studied close to 700 words. A few of the words fell in the COVID timeline. It seemed God would download a word that we needed to unpack. We would study the word's definition and the Bible verses and would write something about the word.I now say the Bible is a Masterpiece of literary wonder. And I have fallen in love with its Author!I am so blessed that I found Him... But truthfully, He found me!
