The base and blade are riveted together with 2 taper pins producing a strong and invisible joint. All faces and edges are ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism. Manufactured to strict German DIN 875/1 standards and guaranteed square to within 0.0016 inches (that’s one and a half thousandths of an inch). Comes in a cardboard box. Includes signed inspection certificate.
