Identify Inlet Hose: Install the coolant filter in the inlet hose that carries coolant into the heater. This hose typically originates from the intake manifold or the side of the engine block (or the hose connected to the heater valve if applicable). ✅2. Cut Hose Section: Once the inlet hose is determined, cut out a section of the hose equal to the length of the filter. Please make sure the hose size is 5/8 inch. ✅3. Locate "→" Label: One end of the filter has an arrow symbol. Coolant flows from the engine into the inlet of the filter and then to the heater. ✅4. Install the Filter: Slide hose clamps onto the hose end and insert the filter into the hose. Tighten the hose clamps. ✅5. Start the Vehicle: Start the vehicle and allow the filter to fill with coolant while warming up. ✅6. Pressure-Check the System: Conduct a pressure check on the system to ensure there are no leaks. If a leak is detected between the glass and chrome end cap rubber seal, twist the chrome end caps to tighten and stop the leak. ✅7.
