Even when in expert mode, if you run into trouble, all you have to do is slide the PASS switch to full or partial assist and the system will take over and the aircraft will return to a level, stable flight. Another option on this plane is the removable landing gear which can be used to take off from smooth surfaces. Where a manual release is better suited to the conditions, using partial assist makes it easy whether the gear is engaged or not. For even more fun when flying with the PASS system, you can use the Stunt button on the transmitter to automatically let the aircraft complete a loop or roll making you look like a stunt pilot.
