The inlaid Chess Board has been made by the special inlaying process. High-powered magnets have been inserted inside each chess piece and the magnet power passes through the wooden board attracted by the metal sheet which holds the chess pieces tightly and never lets them fall while traveling or playing. The strong magnet power doesn't let the chess piece fall even if the box is held in an upside-down position. The chess board/box has double hinges on the back and the front has a clasp that holds the upper & and lower parts of the box firmly when the chess box is folded. The complete chess board/box & and chess pieces have three coats of catalyzed lacquer in a satin finish that protects from spills and general wear & and tear. The complete unit is handmade in wood. The chess pieces are hand carved in Staunton Design Thin green soft velvet felt has been applied on the bottom of the chess pieces. Every Chess piece fits into the special Insert which has been made according to the shape of the chess pieces. The Insert is made of EP Foam specially meant for the protection of pieces.
