- We ONLY use PURE Aluminum – Double Sided Foil. We REFUSE to use the cheaper quality metalized plastic film product like many of our competitors - basically, a potato chip bag. These products will degrade over time in a hot attic. THIS is the difference between 97% reflectivity and 95% reflectivity.
- Perforated – AtticFoil has tiny holes to allow moisture to pass through. This reflective insulation is NOT a vapor barrier (You don’t want a vapor barrier in your attic that can trap moisture, leading to air quality issues). All products have an internal tearproof tarp-like fabric.
- AtticFoil Multiple Sizes: Available in 26” and 48” - 26” is best to run vertically (up/down) in truss-style attics. 48” roll insulation is best to run horizontally (left/right) in standard open-frame attics.
