The Hawk single shade helmet is versatile and economical, with excellent shock absorbency for the A-D filter and it won't crack like other welding helmets. Other features include the rugged perma-lok ratcheting head gear with sweat band and a design that eliminates neck injuries due to helmet flipping. The Hawk is one of the lightest helmets on the market with excellent head, neck and ear coverage, with easy changing of the polycarbonate from the front. The positioning of the 2x4-inch viewing area makes objects appear larger than other 2x4-inch helmets. It accepts electronic filters up to 3/8-inch.
