Amusing Hobby 1/35 Scale Centurion MK.5 Avre Tank Plastic Model Building Kit # 35A035This is the Centurion Mk.5 AVRE, an Armoured Vehicle Royal Engineers (AVRE) specification vehicle operated by the Royal Engineers of the British Army. The kit contains 12 styrene sprues and a separate onepiece lower hull, a photoetched brass fret, six metal springs and a length of thread. Most of the parts are like in their previous Mk.V tank kit, but there are two new frames included for the upgraded armour packs, upper hull panels, mantlet, replacement Royal Ordnance L9 demolition gun, dozer blade and turret baskets.With workable suspension and individuallink tracks which enable the running gear to be compressed realistically over uneven terrain in a diorama. No interior, but a very detailed exterior, with wellmoulded reactive armour plates plus weld beads, bolt heads and light guards. The three markings options feature British Army Training Unit Suffield, Desert and NATO camouflage schemes.
