Supershield NasaTek SSR helps save you energy and money by preventing heat loss from your hot water tank and increasing the response rate when cycling. This kit provides an additional R-5 to your tank system and has an E-value of .03 meaning it reflects 97% of radiant heat back to its source. Lightweight and easy to install the SSR kits are non-toxic and passed the California standard (IAQ CA01350) for Indoor Air Quality. The Supershield NasaTek SSR also is Class 1, Class A fire rated and has passed the stringent California Bureau of Home Furnishing and Thermal Insulation's water heater fire test. Each Kit Includes: Instructions for different styles of tanks, foil tape, spacers, and the insulation for your install. All you'll need is a utility knife, and as always safety glasses.
