The Dishwasher Vent allows humid air to escape from the dishwasher and releases pressure. This replacement part is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Maytag® and KitchenAid® dishwasher brands; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience.
