The Meridian Pilot's Handbook is a guide to owning and operating the Piper PA46-500TP turboprop airplane. For the pilot transitioning to this model, it provides a solid introduction to the airplane and how to fly it, and is an excellent self-study ground school for both the Meridian and M500. For pilots transitioning from the piston PA46, the book describes similarities and differences between the Meridian and the piston versions. For pilots searching for a Meridian, this book is a helpful guide that answers many questions of interest to prospective owners. Experienced Meridian pilots will appreciate the many technical descriptions and drawings that dive into the aircraft's systems that include 151 technical illustrations and photographs, and will provide owners and pilots with a common language when working with mechanics to diagnose trouble and understand required maintenance.The Meridian began production in 2000 and its systems have been modified over the years. Accordingly, the introduction of the book provides a description of the changes in each year, and modifications offered by Piper.
