These dress shirt collar stays are made from 18 gauge sterling silver ( 1mm thick ) by hand and measure 5/16 inch wide and 2.5 inch long . The edges are filed by hand to make them smooth the heart cut out via jewelers saw ( also by hand ) and each letter was stamped one at a time into the service .
