Army ID Badge ARNG Recruiting and Retention Senior Mirror Finish

The Army Identification badge for National Guard Recruiting and Retention may be worn by enlisted personnel assigned to authorized National Guard duty positions which require military occupational specialty 00E or 79 Delta, including personnel assigned to the United States Army Recruiting Command. Authority to wear this badge is withdrawn when the awardee is released from recruiting duty, although it may be retained as memento of successful completion of assigned recruiting duties. The badge displays the Minute Man statue encircled by a band with 54 stars. The encircling print reads “ARMY NATIONAL GUARD” above the statue and “RECRUITING RETENTION” below the statue. The badge is differentiated from the Basic National Guard Recruiting and Retention badge by a laurel wreath that surrounds the entire insignia, as well as the addition of an hexagon between the ends of the laurel wreath.
