Detergent Dosage The recommended detergent dosage is between 0.5-1 floz (1-2 tbsp) per gallon of water. The dosage level will be determined by several factors including incoming water hardness, water temperature, water consumption of the machine model, warewash soil loadings, and the number of cycles between draining of the wash tank. A good starting point is 1 floz. (2 tbsp) per gallon of water. Run several cycles to ensure soil loading and all stains are removed from dishware. If positive results are obtained the concentration can be further decreased.
