You In The Here and Now takes its readers on a marvelous journey of discovery about a most essential and elusive theme: enlightenment. In twelve captivating chapters, the author — a leading expert in psychology, linguistics, language, and education — illuminates every essential aspect of enlightenment, in theory and in practice. The book's twelve chapters explain and explore themes including the here and now, the enlightened mind, first-person reports about enlightenment, Buddha's reports, death, Zen, and the imagined/imaginary world. Professor Britton writes: “I dove into meditation for 2400 hours of week-long silent retreats with five teachers for fifteen years. Finally I figured it out for myself.” Impeccable scholarship combined with personal revelations make this a book of priceless value, filled with gems of insight and practical wisdom that point the way toward a more meaningful and mindful life.About the AuthorBruce K.
